Be an Upstander, Not a Bystander

When you see someone getting bullied online, you have a choice: do nothing—or do something.

Being an upstander means standing up for others instead of staying silent. Even small actions, like sending a kind message, reporting the post, or letting an adult know, can make a big difference.

Silence can feel like agreement to the person being bullied. But when you speak up, you show support—and that support can help someone feel seen, valued, and safe.

You don’t have to be loud or confront anyone. Just be kind, take action, and let others know bullying isn’t okay.

Together, we can make the internet a better place—one kind choice at a time.
